I'm just back from my first time showing at Surtex, where I shared a booth with my friend & fellow designer Shannon Hays. It was a great experience & so much fun!

When things settle down, I'll have a chance to write a recap with any helpful tips I can think of, but for now I just wanted to share some pictures from the show.

Here we are on set-up day, relieved to have our banners up.
Shannon came up with the idea for the house on the back wall,
and our "Come Out & Play" theme, which I loved.

My half of the booth.

For my side panels, I created a scene showing a bunch of happy friends heading to. . .

. . . a baby bear's birthday picnic!

A close-up of my shelf, where I displayed some greeting cards,
little wrapped presents, and a pillow & cute baby hat that my daughter
sewed with my fabric from Spoonflower. She did a great job!

My portfolio book, postcards, and other promo materials, ready to go.

It was a great few days. Now time to get back to work!

I'm so excited to have my patterns included in the Surface Pattern Design Guide in the current issue of Uppercase Magazine!
